Ghana has a large population but the availability of affordable housing does not meet the demand. The government has not been able to provide affordable housing for the Ghanaian population. Affordable housing is not attractive to Real Estate Developers because the average Ghanaian cannot afford it. Unlike credit score systems abroad, where one can afford to buy a house provided they have a clean credit score. Credit score systems do not exist much in Ghana. Some financial companies have attempted to do so but it has not been successfully established in Ghana.
